The Orkney Conductors' Course takes place every year over twelve days built around St Magnus International Festival.

Emerging professionals from all over the world gather to work with two pianos and some of the Festival artists. For the first time this year we are opening the doors of the sessions where our students work with a professional orchestra. This is your chance to watch many young conductors in action, to see the inner workings of an orchestral rehearsal and to hear a large variety of repertoire. You might even be watching the star conductors of the future in their earliest experiences.
