Olivier Messaien, whose music we celebrate in this 100 th anniversary year, is perhaps the greatest composer for the organ since J S Bach. Dame Gillian Weir is one of today's foremost musicians and the works of both Messiaen and Bach have been a vital part of her repertoire for over forty years. |
